   I have been interested in Natural Medicine since I was sixteen. I fell in love with natural medicine and holistic living. I had my own personal health problems. A lot of it was related to hormonal health problems. I tried so many diets. From keto to not eating bread or pasta, exercising, walking… Nothing worked for me. I just kept gaining weight. Then after many years of trying different things, I started going to a Doctor of Natural Medicine. She helped me tremendously. My hormones began to balance out. I was losing weight. I ditched all my toxic personal care products and even my makeup. I fell in love with holistic health so much that I am going to school for Natural Medicine.
   I am in my early 20s now. I have a  puppy named Rosie, an English cream golden retriever. I hope you enjoy my blogs. Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, & Exercise

Herbal medicine has been around for centuries. In herbal medicine it uses roots, stems, leaves, flowers, or seeds of plants to improve health, prevent disease, and treat illness. Your great grandparents would have you used herbs as medicine and look at how long they lived for.  A few of my favorite herbs are echinacea, calendula, and arnica.

Holistic nutrition is a complete, natural approach to health, from eating the right foods for your body to healthy lifestyle practices to achieve optimal health. Always remember "Food is your medicine."

Exercise is the activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness. My favorite workout is Pilates. I love it because you can do it from home. I also love hikes, biking, and leisurely walks.

Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, & Clean Living

Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical wellbeing. There are a lot of essential oils, each one with its own unique smell and potential health benefits. Essential oils can be massaged into the skin mixed with a carrier oil, added to bath water or vaporized in a diffuser. A few of my favorite essential oils are lavender, eucalyptus, rose, lemon, and tea tree oil.

Homeopathy is a 200-year-old form of alternative medicine that stimulates a healing response and strengthens the body’s ability to heal itself. Arnicare is one of my favorites for natural pain relief. 

Clean Living is removing all toxic items from you household. Buying organic and avoiding highly processed food.

Holistic Pet Care

Holistic pet care is when holistic veterinary doctors look at the entire animal. They look at the pet’s environment, genetics, and nutrition. This is done in order to uncover the root cause of the illness. Some of the therapies provided by holistic veterinary doctors are acupuncture, aromatherapy, chiropractic care, flower essences, herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutritional therapy and much more. Clean living is very important for pet health as it is for us.
